Carpenter - Static Role (Domestic & Commercial Repairs)

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our building services team in a static role based in Southampton. This is an excellent opportunity to work across occupied student accommodation, buildings, and vacant rooms, delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance.

The Carpenter Role in more detail:

• Carry out a wide variety of carpentry repairs across occupied student accommodation and empty rooms
• Install and repair various door types, including fire doors
• Complete first and second fix carpentry tasks
• Undertake kitchen installations and associated works
• Carry out ceramic wall tiling, carpet tiling, and minor decorative works
• Perform minor glazing repairs as required
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety regulations
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents and site teams
• Maintain accurate records of work completed

Carpenter Application Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Carpentry (or equivalent qualification)
• Proven experience in carpentry maintenance and repair work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and customer service skills
• All operatives must successfully pass a Basic DBS check
