We have a track record of providing fantastic opportunities to candidates throughout the country and are seeking a Warehouse Operative to work from our newly refurbished state of the art Head Office in Chandlers Ford.
The Role:
- You will be responsible for travelling around the South of England to ensure all technicians vans are audited
- To carry out stock checks on technicians’ vans and lock ups to make sure equipment is all in date
- To carry out 6 monthly checks
- When you are not on the road, you will be assisting in the warehouse picking and packing when needed
- To achieve all set standards for the delivery of all items of stock and to achieve KPI targets
- To follow Company Policy and Procedures at all times
- To complete audits and calibrations of equipment during normal working hours
- To aid in the accuracy of paperwork and procedures at all times
- To ensure all computer related work is on time and accurate
- To ensure all calibration logs are maintained and updated
- To ensure all storage facilities and vans are being maintained to company standards, and escalate appropriately if not
- To maintain all issued tools and PPE
- To maintain close liaison with our warehouse team
- To liaise with our other offices and Technicians where applicable
- To make stock deliveries/collections to Technicians and Customers when required
The Ideal candidate:
- To have a full UK drivers’ licence
- To be confident in managing your own time
- Will have good attention to detail
- Will be methodical and well organised
- Will have the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Will have previous experience within stock allocations, stock control. logistics, supply chain ideally
- Will have good communication skills
