Warehouse Operative
Salary £20k (Full time)
Location: Birmingham

Churches Fire is and an industry leading national Fire Security business that is rapidly growing and seeking a proactive and motivated professional to join the team. We have a track record of providing fantastic opportunities to candidates throughout the country and are seeking a Warehouse Operative.

The Role:

  • To achieve all set standards for the delivery of all items of stock and to achieve KPI targets
  • To follow Company Policy and Procedures at all times
  • To complete audits and calibrations of equipment during normal working hours
  • To aid in the accuracy of paperwork and procedures at all times
  • To ensure all computer related work is on time and accurate
  • To ensure all calibration logs are maintained and updated
  • To ensure all audits are carried out on time
  • To ensure all storage facilities and vans are being maintained to company standards, and escalate appropriately if not
  • To maintain all issued tools and PPE
  • To maintain a neat and tidy appearance at all times wearing company uniform
  • To maintain close liaison with our Fleet & Purchasing Manager
  • To maintain close liaison with our warehouse team
  • To liaise with our other offices and Technicians where applicable
  • To promote Churches fire at all times
  • To have flexible working patterns
  • To maintain close liaison with our technicians
  • To make stock deliveries/collections to Technicians and Customers when required
  • To carry out any other duties required, as advised by the Fleet & Purchasing Manager
  • To cover other members of the team during holidays and sickness etc.
  • Where applicable to help recover vehicles or stock from Technicians
  • Where applicable to help support new starters (Technicians)



The ideal candidate:

  • Will have excellent administration skills
  • Will have good attention to detail
  • Will be methodical and well organised
  • Will have the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Will have previous experience within stock allocations, stock control. logistics , supply chain ideally
  • Will have good communication skills
