Churches Fire has a track record of providing fantastic opportunities to candidates throughout the Country.  Due to our expanding team and client base, we are now seeking a Trainee Sprinkler Technician / Bell Tester to cover the airbases. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to get into the industry where you will be invested in and trained!!
 
The Role:
  • To ensure all planned work is completed in the allocated week / month
  • To ensure all reactive and corrective work is completed within set parameters where necessary
  • To support any business change for the benefit of the company
  • To be flexible with the working patterns as and when required
  • All work to be carried out to the current standards
  • Deliver sufficient information on report sheets to assist quotations
  • Carry out small works either on a service visit or following a quotation with support where needed when appropriately trained
  • To deliver excellent customer service
  • To undertake any training provided by the company
  • To liaise with office staff to assist in the resolving of queries
  • Provide suggestions for improvement of practices within the Company
  • Comply with all relevant technician practises, processes, and company policies
  • Always maintain a clean vehicle
  • Maintain company supplied tools and PPE
  • Maintain neat and tidy appearance
Experience (not essential but desirable):
 
  • Visual Inspections of sprinkler systems/ regular testing of sprinkler systems
  • Test water motor alarms
  • Diesel Engine experience/knowledge
  • Inspecting of fire department connections
 
Key Performance Indicators:
 
  • Complete all task issued to you by the required time frames
  • Ensure you have adequate parts and materials to complete your tasks
  • Complete all reactive works within set time frames
  • Ensure all works are completed correctly as per your training and issued tasks
  • Rectify minor faults and maintain system standards
