Job Description

Junior Mortgage Administrator
I am looking for a bright, enthusiastic, and driven individual who is looking to develop their career within Financial Services, specifically Mortgages. We can offer development internally which over time can naturally take you through several routes internally this can be Paraplanner or Advisor route or into other departments within the business. We will pay for and support relevant qualifications and development.

You will be a part of a multiple award-winning team to sit within the existing mortgage Administration team, with full mortgage admin training provided.
Duties will include:
  • Check the mortgage brokers’ new business cases to ensure the mortgage case is compliant and meet the FCA’s rules and regulations
  • Dealing with new and existing clients, you will also be required to chase the relevant mortgage lenders, surveyors, and retailers, ensuring the smooth running of the mortgage process. You will be required to chase any outstanding information required to ensure first class customer service is offered
  • Provide effective and efficient support to all departments and dedicated consultants
  • Handling applications, documentation, specialist mortgage admin
  • Mortgage case handling
  • Completing office administration tasks
  • Ensuring the broker submissions are compliant
  • Posting relevant documents to clients
  • Meet and Greet with Customers coming into the office
  • Handling of confidential information
Skills and required knowledge
  • Previous mortgage admin experience is preferred but not essential, applications will be considered from administrators who do not have financial services industry but have office administration experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Works well under their own initiative, taking ownership of their own work while supporting a wider team
  • Calm and professional telephone manner
In return you will receive full training, Qualification support both financially and studying. And a strong salary of £20,000-£25,000 + discretionary team bonus paid quarterly
