Job Description

Practice Paraplanner Technical Manager
We are helping with a recruitment drive with a well-established IFA firm that now has reached capacity regarding the size of it Technical Paraplanning team, due to this we are now assisting to find a manager to support / train the team, and produce the technical report cases on occasions and sign off the work for the team of report writers.
Some of the duties involve:
Maintain knowledge awareness of new products in the marketplace and keep the team informed this will key for this role.
Liaise with the other departments ensure the smooth running of administration processes
Liaise the Financial Planner on more complex technical cases
Assist the Financial Planning Assistants in preparing for client meetings
Attend client meetings on request, e.g. when a more complex solution is recommended
Build and maintain a compliant suitability report drafting process to ensure the consistent high standard is met
Preparing bespoke content for suitability reports for more complex cases
Proof read all suitability reports prepared by Financial Planning Assistants
Provide Technical training in-house
Liaise with client's other professional services providers, e.g. solicitors and accountants
Plan and deliver technical presentations / seminars to the team, the firm's professional network and prospective clients.
Any other tasks reasonably requested by your employer
What do you need?

At least 3 years' experience working as a Paraplanner

At least 2 years' experience working within a financial planning environment
Diploma Level 4 or RDR compliant
Have desire to work towards Chartered Level 6
