Technical Customer  Support

We have Temporary Positions available to start immediately 

Duration: 6 months at least 

Location: Eastleigh Southampton

Salary: £20000 per annum

Hours of work: you will need to be available to work shifts of 4 days on and 4 days off, between the hours of 6am and 7pm on a rota basis 
You will also need to be flexible to also support on a rota basis on call for a night cover from 10pm  - 07.30am

Our client provides specialist technical products along with an outstanding service to support this

Due to developments plans our client is now looking to recruit a Technical Customer Support executive to join the business on a temporary basis 

As Technical Customer Support you will be responsible for assisting a variety of clients with all round technical issues

Your key duties will include the following:
*Acting as a first point of contact for all customer calls 
*It is your responsibility to ensure that calls are answered professionally and within agreed timeframes 
*You will log any technical issues both by email and telephone
*You will update client records using the internal system 
*You will be responsible for escalating issues that you are unable to help with to other departments and third parties 
*You will complete administartion to support with the above 
The ideal Technical Support Advisor 

  • Have worked as a call hander previously 
  • Will have ideally assisted customers with technical or IT related issues although a keen interest in technical / IT would be sufficient
  • Will have strong administration skills and experience 
Will have the following competencies

  • NVQ1/GCSEs and above (or equivalent) in key competencies
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Problem analysis/problem solving
  • Good Timekeeping
  • Adaptability
  • Attention to detail
  • Working in a very pressurized environment
  • Understanding of SLAs and KPIs
  • Computer Literate
  • Quick learner
  • Flexible and adaptable
