Job Description

Supply Chain Controller / Stock Controller
 
Location: Fareham / Southampton area
 
Hours of work : Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm with some flexibility required
 
This is a temporary position for 2-3 months although could lead to a permanent position for the right person
 
Salary : £11.00 - £11.25 per hour
 
Dynamite recruitment is working in partnership with a well established and hugely successful company who are based in the Fareham / Southampton area
 
Our clients provide a very specialist service to their customers and are currently seeking a temporary Supply Chain Controller / Stock management controller to start with them immediately
 
As a Supply Chain Coordinator / Stock controller you will be responsible for the following
 
 
  • To be fully responsible for the management of medical stock levels
  • To complete regulated and regular stock counts
  • To manage relationships with you clients to ensure that they receive their required stock levels within the agreed timeframes
  • To manage relationships with you suppliers to manage stock levels
  • To provide full support to the team
  • To complete stock checks and audits on stock takes  - to complete any investigations where necessary
  • Take notes and minutes at team meetings and cascade to the team accordingly.
  • Ensure all recorded data is accurate and on the correct forms.
  • To ensure all Medication and Consumables boxes are thoroughly checked, maintained to a high standard, and are appropriately and accurately recorded.
  • Replenish each box as per service specifications.
  • Ensure all items supplied to boxes are checked for expiry dates and are labelled correctly.
  • Ensure there is always sufficient stock to provide the safe delivery of services.
  • Ensure all items are used in stock rotation to ensure reduced wastage due to expiry dates.
  • Ensure all admin tasks are completed to a high standard and work within the team to always ensure efficiency. 
  • Use the scanning system effectively to ensure products are tracked appropriately.
  • To support with completing weekly runs to outlying bases to replenish medication and consumable boxes using the company van where this may be necessary
 
The ideal candidate Must have / Be
 
  • Must have worked within supply chain , logistics , procurement , distribution, stock control previously
  • Can work with numbers and attention to detail is of a high standard
  • Will understand thew importance of accuracy and managing such important stock correctly .
  • Be able to prioritise activities is essential.
  • Highly organised
  • Will be able to support others successfully
  • Previous experience in adhering to strict protocols desirable due to the medications under our control.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office package
  • The ability to meet standards and maintain those standards will be important for the successful completion of the job.
  • The ability to work under pressure as an individual and a key team member. 
  • Holds a Full Driving License 
  • Proactive and highly adaptable to change
  • Previous experience in the Care , medical industry would be desirable although not essential
