Soft Skills Coach and Trainer

Location : Chichester

Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00 - there will be a requirement at times to work at weekends and evenings

Salary : Up to £26k + benefits which include

Dynamite Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a very well-established financial service business, who have a rare and exciting opportunity for an engaging and adaptable Soft Skills Performance Coach/Trainer to join their team.
Working alongside Managers and Team Leaders you will be responsible for developing new and existing staff within a specialist team to ensure the execution of the first class customer service that they are known for.

You will focus on soft skills to ensure that employee's manage a wide variety of enquiries to their best potential and with the upmost professionalism

We are looking for an experienced Coach and trainer who has experience in writing and delivering soft skills training with success previously

As a soft skills Trainer and Coach you will be responsible for

  • To design and deliver soft skill training including refresh training to meet business needs. Roll out training programmes for new and existing staff
  • To continuously improve training materials by reviewing performance, quality and audits to ensure content is current, effective and in line with current business objectives and processes
  • To provide continual coaching where required to reinforce the clients standards through on the job coaching or workshops
  • Conducting trainee review and devising individual learning plans
  • Support training initiatives throughout the company, e.g. Customer Experience Programme
  • Consult with team managers and operational managers in the identification of performance gaps
  • Identify development issues and support the trainers in conducting a training needs analysis for departments and individuals
  • Documenting coaching/training plans and highlighting key wins and focus areas on a regular basis
  • Record coaching / training activity and produce regular updates to managers
  • Evaluate coaching / training delivered using company agreed methods (i.e. GROW)
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders (i.e. Operation Managers and Team Leaders)
  • Complete call monitoring assessments and provide feedback in a timely and professional manner, both written and verbal
  • Undertake call calibrations sessions in conjunction with operations to ensure clarity in the key areas
  • Pro-actively identifying training needs ensuring coaching and development solutions are implemented and improvement monitored
  • Keeping up to date with developments in training by reading relevant journals, ongoing to meetings and attending relevant courses
  • Designing and expanding training and development programmes based on the needed of the organisation and the individual
  • Ensure compliant with client and regulatory requirements within the scope of the role
  • Manage risk within the business to ensure all exposures are reported and contained appropriately
  • Maintain training and coaching records.
  • Support and contribute towards induction delivery
  • Use the GROW and SMART models to coach individual performance.

  • A coaching qualification

* Proactively coach / train and have a hands-on approach to staff development
* Demonstrate timely staff feedback and development techniques

* Experience in performance coaching either on the job or in the classroom
* Experience in learning and development training either on the job or in the classroom
* Experience in designing, delivering and presenting effective coaching and training programmes
* Create robust coaching and training plans at an individual level
* Skilled in Microsoft Office applications
* Strong data analysis skills
* Demonstrate ability to proactively solve problems
* Capable of inspiring staff to work in accordance with the clients ethos and to actively work to improve the operations of the company
* Must be committed to providing the highest level of customer care and satisfaction
* Experienced in resolving customer complaints or thorough understanding of the "customer journey"
* Professional level of verbal and written communication
* Able to engage with stakeholders at all levels
* Develop good working relationships both internally and with clients
