Job Description
The Service Engineer / Maintenance Technician will take a lead on the servicing and maintenance of a range of mechanical equipment in the North (Birmingham and above) and will have previous experience in a similar Mechanical Engineering position.
*Will need to comfortable travelling to the South of the UK for training and for office visits when required. *
Package:
- Up to £37,000 depending on experience.

Field Service Engineer Role:
- To conduct planned servicing, repairs and maintenance to a variety of mechanical equipment over the North of England, (more information can be supplied after application).
- Maintain strong relationship with Lab and Quality Managers.
- Travel to the South of the UK for training and for office visits when required.
- Reactive maintenance on mechanical equipment when required.
- To ensure the works completed are in line with the industry legislation and standards.
- Carrying out exploratory mechanical equipment inspections and recommend suitable solutions.
- Stay overnight when required (3 days is the recommended maximum).
- To work closely with various Services and sales departments.
The Candidate:
- Previous experience in a Mechanical Engineering Service Engineer / Maintenance Technician position.
- To be passionate about the industry and be willing to work hard, travel far, and stay overnight when required.
- To enjoy building, developing and maintaining relationships with a range of customers.
