Senior Telecoms Project Manager / Implementations Manager

Location : Home working initially however you may be required to attend site in the future when covid restrictions change In Portsmouth
You may also have to travel to customer sites as and when circumstances change

Salary : £40000 -£45000 per annum dependant on experience plus fantastic benefits which include the following

Hours of work : 37.5 hours a week , working a slight rota between 8.3am and 5.30pm

Dynamite Recruitment is currently working in partnership with a very well established IT and telecoms business who are based in Portsmouth and surrounding areas across the UK

Due to business change our client is looking to recruit a Senior Telecoms Project Manager / Implementations Manager

As a Senior Project Manager / Senior Implementations Manager you will be responsible for supporting clients with the implementation of specialist telecoms products and services . This will require you to communicate with the customer directly , plan and execute multiple projects whilst successfully managing change

You will be required to will be required to work collaboratively with the Customer Fulfilment, Service Delivery and Project Management teams as well as external suppliers.

This role involves working with customers to understand their technical UCaaS requirements and to then manage these requirements through implementation to successful installation/completion. Technical support will also extend to customer requirements pre-sale.

As a Senior Telecoms Project Manager / Senior Implementations Manager you will be responsible for the following
  • Supporting multiple, complex customer projects at one time, prioritising as required
  • Responsible for delivering service which provides an excellent customer experience
  • Help to define individual customer requirements for UCaaS solutions and take a lead on technical validation of the solution
  • Manage the development of customer roll out plans to track progress against deliverables where required
  • Liaising with delivery management teams as required
  • Identify and manage issues internally and externally to customers and escalating as appropriate
  • Provide technical support to customers for highly complex ‘in-life’ requests
  • Liaising and coordinating with third party suppliers as required
  • Attend relevant meetings with suppliers and customers as required, both on-site and remotely
  • Actively identify areas for improvement (product, system, or process)
  • Managing incoming workload on behalf of the team when required
  • If required, support alternative products in conjunction with the core UCaaS products
  • Act as a designated technical support contact and where necessary, escalation point for your customer projects as required
  • Manage key suppliers to resolve customer escalations, risks, and issues
  • Demonstrate and educate customers on the capability and configuration of our UCaaS products
  • Be a technical product expert for our UCaaS products
  • Ability to work at director level with customer contacts within our largest and most strategic customers
  • If required, deputise for the Head of Horizon and Mobile Implementation
  • Support the pre-sales process by providing technical support if required
  • Support deployment change process where required to ensure successful and smooth customer change
The ideal candidate
  • Must have at least 5 years’ experience within Telcoms , VoIP systems , UCaaS
  • Will have project management / Implementation experience
  • Have experience of technically managing complex customer projects via defined processes in addition to a thorough understanding of UCaaS, mobile and data technologies
  • Be customer orientated with a dynamic and logical approach to supporting requirements
  • Have a positive attitude with a professional, diplomatic approach to working with customers, other teams, and suppliers
  • Be a self-organiser with the ability to take responsibility for their own workload as well as that of the team when needed
  • Excellent communicator able to interface at all levels and to people of varying technical capability
  • Responsive to change, operating within a fast-paced business telecommunications environment
  • Team player, always thinking of the team and helping colleagues
  • Good work ethic and attitude with excellent timekeeping and reliability
  • Smart personal appearance and professional, courteous, and diligent always
  • Proven ability to act as a key interface between various internal teams as well as customers and our Channel Partners
