Sales Support / Account Manager

Location: Portsmouth

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Salary: £18000 - £22500 dependant in experience

Plus, an annual bonus of 10%

Our client is very well established and pride themselves on their reputation
Due to growth within the business our client is now looking to recruit a Sales Support /Account Manager to join their business

As a Sales Support /Account Manager you will be responsible for working as part of a sales support team. You will support both the internal and external sales team with any required duties

This is a very busy position which requires you to react to a number of enquiries at any one time and prioritise your work load

This will include the following

  • Acting as a main point of contact for the sales team both via email and on the telephone
  • Respond to an internal Inbox and managing enquiries on a daily basis
  • Assisting clients via email and on the telephone on behalf of the sales team
  • Processing reports
  • Managing and sending proposals and quotations on behalf of the sales team
  • Analysing accounts and liaising with credit control where required
  • Setting up new client accounts using the internal system
  • Passing sales and website leads where they are identified to the relevant departments
  • Chasing for paperwork that has not been received
  • Assisting with projects
  • Managing the office facilities IE, post, office supplies, facility management
  • Assisting with marketing campaigns
  • Booking travel and accommodation for the sales and management team
  • Providing all round administration support which varies daily

The ideal candidate

  • Will have previous experience of managing multiple clients / supporting multiple people previously
  • Will have supported others from initial point of contact through to completion
  • Will have the ability to multi task and prioritise
  • Will have good communication skills and experience
  • Will be very adaptable to change
  • Will have excellent PC skills and be competent in using Microsoft Office
  • Previous experience within Account management, sales support would be advantageous although not essential
