Our client is an established company based in Waterlooville who are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join their busy and customer focused sales team as a Sales Manager. This is fantastic opportunity for a professional and personable individual wanting a stable and fulfilling career.
- Day to day management of the sales and business development team
- Set daily and weekly targets and objectives for each team member individually and for the team as a whole
- Monitor each individuals performance and coach them to exceed their targets
- Encourage and motivate the team to work to the best of their abilities
- Handling recruitment and training for your team
- Take care of any escalated complaints from customers
- Conduct regular sales meetings
- Answer incoming telephone calls during busy periods in the office and lead by example
- Seek and secure new business for the company via the phone, attend trade shows in person and present to new clients on and off-site
The Ideal Candidate:
- Must have previous sales team management experience!
- Must have previous new business / sales experience and be happy to continue this as part of a varied job role
- Must have strong people management skills and be able to build strong rapport with team members
- Must be target orientated and driven to push a team to succeed
- Must be presentable, punctual, articulate and professional at all times
