Sales Ledger Clerk
Up to £26k, Depending on Experience
Full Time, Permanent Position!

Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Sales Ledger Clerk to join one of our top clients based in Southampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to become part of a busy and experienced team.

The Role:
  • Reporting into the Head of Finance
  • Processing high-volume invoices and credit notes
  • Allocating payments and updating cash receipts
  • Chasing overdue balances
  • Reconciling bank and supplier statements
  • Credit Control
  • Maintaining bad debtor reports
  • Cash management
  • Matching purchase orders
  • Allocating cash payments
  • Investigate any discrepancies and finding a resolution
  • Completing reports and presenting to the Head of Finance
  • Reviewing processes to improve efficiencies
  • Query resolution for supplier and customers
  • Assist the finance department with ad hoc duties
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Previous experience within a similar position
  • Good organisation and administrative skills with attention to detail
  • Strong Excel skills; including VLOOKUP’s and Pivots
  • Able to use initiative and think logically in busy situations
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with a confident and tenacious telephone manner
