Sales Ledger Clerk
Up to £26k, Depending on Experience
Full Time, Permanent Position!
Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Sales Ledger Clerk to join one of our top clients based in Southampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to become part of a busy and experienced team.
The Role:
- Reporting into the Head of Finance
- Processing high-volume invoices and credit notes
- Allocating payments and updating cash receipts
- Chasing overdue balances
- Reconciling bank and supplier statements
- Credit Control
- Maintaining bad debtor reports
- Cash management
- Matching purchase orders
- Allocating cash payments
- Investigate any discrepancies and finding a resolution
- Completing reports and presenting to the Head of Finance
- Reviewing processes to improve efficiencies
- Query resolution for supplier and customers
- Assist the finance department with ad hoc duties
- Previous experience within a similar position
- Good organisation and administrative skills with attention to detail
- Strong Excel skills; including VLOOKUP’s and Pivots
- Able to use initiative and think logically in busy situations
- Good verbal and written communication skills with a confident and tenacious telephone manner
