Sales Ledger Administrator
Up to £20k, Depending on Experience
Full Time, Temporary Position!
Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Sales Ledger Administrator to join one of our top clients based in Southampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to become part of a busy and experienced team.
- Reporting into the Financial Controller
- Recording and distributing receipt and payment details
- Allocating cash to customer accounts
- Raising and sending invoices and credit notes
- Completing cashiering processes
- Chasing overdue balances
- Reconciling bank and supplier statements
- Credit Control
- Issuing final demand letters
- Reviewing accounts on a weekly basis
- Preparing account statements
- Supporting the Sales Ledger department with ad hoc duties
- Supporting the Financial Controller with ad hoc duties
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience within a similar position
- Good organisation and administrative skills with attention to detail
- Strong Excel skills
- Able to use initiative and think logically in busy situations
- Good verbal and written communication skills with a confident and tenacious telephone manner
