Purchase Ledger Clerk

Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a well-established business based in Southampton on a part time basis, supporting the Financial Controller. This role will be covering all aspects of the purchase ledger function, processing invoices, and setting up purchase orders. Flexible working hours will be considered for the right candidate.

The Purchase Ledger Clerk Role:
  • Maintain the purchase ledger from receipt of invoice and inputting to accounts software
  • Statement and bank reconciliations
  • Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing accounts
  • Managing and allocating PDQ payments
The Ideal Purchase Ledger Clerk:
  • Previous experience within a similar position
  • AAT qualified or working towards (desired but not essential)
  • Competent Microsoft Office user with excellent Excel skills
  • Good knowledge of SAGE 50
