Purchase Ledger Clerk
Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join an SME business based in Fareham, reporting into the Finance Manager. This role will be covering all aspects of the purchase ledger function, managing a percentage of accounts which have been split between the team. This position will need someone who can work in a fast-paced environment, processing high-volume invoices.
The Role:
- Maintain the purchase ledger from receipt of invoice and inputting to Sage
- Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
- Statement and bank reconciliations
- Suggesting ways to implement new processes and procedures
- Previous experience within a similar position
- Ability to work to strict deadlines and prioritise under pressure
- Competent Microsoft Office user with excellent Excel skills
- Experience of Sage would be desirable
