Payroll Manager
Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Payroll Manager to join an SME business based in Southampton. This position will be reporting into the Payroll Director, managing a small team of Payroll Administrators and be accountable for all aspects of client’s payroll.
The Role:
- Oversee the payroll function, ensuring procedures and processes within the department are efficient and run weekly/monthly payroll
- Complete payroll journal for posting to nominal ledger and monthly/annual returns to HMRC
- Ensure compliance with Auto Enrolment process and procedures, taking responsibility for managing all associated administration and communication
- Provide relevant information regarding monthly payments to HMRC, pension providers and all other parties
- Complete performance reviews and mentor direct reports, resolving any queries effectively
- Previous experience within a similar position
- MUST have managerial experience
- Ability to work under pressure to deadlines
- Strong communicator and team player
