Sales Executive/ Appointment Maker – Part time Or Full time

Location: Southampton

Hours of work: Our client can be flexible between 16 and 25 hours between Monday and Friday

If full time you would work Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

The office is open between 9am and 5pm and hybrid working is an option for full time staff only

This is an office-based position

Salary: £12.50 per hour plus you will receive commission for booked appointments of £15.00
Plus, great company benefits

You are targeted to book 3 per week minimum on a part time basis although the team can generate much more

Due to some fantastic growth plans our client is looking to increase their head count in the sales department

As a Sales Executive / Business developer you will be responsible for working as part of a sales department where you will be responsible for generating sales appointments. It will be your job to make contact with a decision maker of the business and generate interest in the products and services available to them. You will then book an appointment for the external business development manager to attend and close the business.

You will be provided with a database full of leads which you will make contact with.

Part of the role will also involve prospecting potential leads via social media and the Internet and market research

Key duties include the following:
  • To make outbound calls to business’s
  • To liaise with decision makers of a business
  • To generate interest in company products and services
  • To overcome objections
  • To book in quality appointments for the Field Sales Developer to attend
  • To manage emails
  • To generate leads via market research and social media avenues
  • To complete administration
  • To provide an excellent customer service at all times
 
The ideal Sales Executive / Appointment maker will have / be
  • Previous experience within sales position previously
  • Will ideally have made outbound calls to customers to generate sales previously
  • Wil is not afraid to make a high volume of outbound sales calls
  • Will have good negotiation / objection handling skills and experience
  • Good computer skills
  • An excellent telephone manner
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
