Part Time, Permanent Position!
Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Credit Control to join one of our tops clients based in Southampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join an experienced and hardworking team.
The hours are Mon - Fri 8am - 2pm
The main aspect of the role will be to aid the Credit Manager in effectively controlling the customer ledger. It is temp to perm.
- Applying daily cash onto customer accounts
- Input daily payments by cheque, BACS, debit & credit cards onto the customer accounts and allocate cash against relevant invoices.
- Processing credit applications, entering approved accounts onto system
- Answering telephone queries from both internal and external customers, enter queries onto system.
- Effectively dealing with customer invoice/payment queries, assisting in their prompt resolution
- Reconciling customer accounts and dealing with any abnormalities as they arise
- Liaising with account handlers
- Maintenance of customer records on system
- Sending out reminder letters as appropriate
- Contacting customers by telephone, letter and/or email when payments are overdue
- Requesting payments and explaining terms and conditions
- Processing credit account applications, running credit checks on prospective customers where applicable
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous Credit control experience
- Good communication skills
- Motivated and well organised
- Able to prioritise workload
- An excellent team player with the desire to contribute to a strong team work ethic
