Part Time Shipping Administrator
 
Shipping Administrator / Supply Chain
 
Location : Gosport / Fareham
 
Hours of work: 25-30 hours per week – Ideally between 9am and 2.30pm although can be flexible
Salary: £20,000.00-£23,000.00 per year (this would be pro rata’d)

Dynamite recruitment is proud to working with a fast growing and very well established company who are based in the Fareham / Gosport area
 
Due to growth plans for 2022 our client is looking to increase their Transport / Logistics department and are now looking to employ a Part Time Shipping Administrator to join their team
 
As a Part time Administrator you will complete the following
  • Work within a specialist transport and logistics department to assist with the successful delivery / shipment of goods
  • To prioritise and manage several orders and requests for deliveries from customers
  • To processing deliveries and shipments
  • Printing documentation and booking in deliveries and shipments within agreed lead times
  • To dispatch orders within deadlines
  • Prioritising customer queries and orders by phone and email and update customers where issues may arise
  • Booking deliveries in with couriers and hauliers
  • Liaising with all other departments as required and making sure the warehouse team are aware of agreed lead times
  • Complete general administration
  • Handling any order fulfilment issues and delivering excellent customer service at all times.
The ideal Administrator will have / be
  • customer-focused role and be comfortable working in an office environment
  • Will be fully competent in using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Will have previous experience in an administration role.
  • Will have an understanding of product/delivery processes, h
  • Have excellent attention to detail and strong all-round communication skills
Previous experience of working within a Transport , Logistics , Shipping , FMCG , Freight , supply chain environment this would be advantageous although not essential
