Neighbourhood Officer
Location: Basingstoke/Aldershot
Hours of work: 37 hours
Salary: £16.00 an hour
Duration: Temporary position for 4-5 months

Due to a busy period our client is looking to recruit a Neighbourhood Officer with Immediate effect
As a Neighbourhood Officer you will be responsible for:
- Look after a specific area of properties providing high levels of customer service at all times
- Carrying out service delivery checks, keeping compliant and legal
- Act as first point of contact for your designated area
- Manage customer rent accounts, carrying out rent arrears visits as and when required
- Carrying out tenancy audits and completing the customers required data
- Working with internal departments, introducing referrals and following progression on tenancies
- Carrying out regular inspections, ensuring everyone is compliant with health, safety and fire regulations
- Building effective relationships with external teams, agencies and local authority
- Working as part of a team, introducing new ideas that can be communicated effectively
- Carrying out adhoc duties alongside admin tasks
The ideal candidate will:
- Must have experience in neighbourhood officer position or similar neighbourhood positions to be considered
- Full UK and clean driving license
- Need to have good communication skills both written and verbal
- Must have CIH, NVQ qualifications
- Will have sound knowledge of housing legislation, welfare and benefits
- Must be able to manage their own workload and work towards tight deadlines
- Must be customer focused and be able to build rapport quickly
