National Sales Manager - FMCG

Permanent - Monday to Friday - Core business hours

£££Competitive Salary + Excellent Company Benefits including Company Car & Bonus

Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for a luxury retail business, with a prestigious household name brand, which is currently seeking an experienced National Sales Manager to come on board.

The Role:

Duties will include but will not be limited to:

  • Managing 3 direct reports (1 x Field Sales Executive based in Ireland who covers whole country, 1 x Field Sales Executive based in Glasgow who covers Scotland and down to the Cumbria/North Yorkshire and 1 x Field Sales Executive based in Hertfordshire who covers Lancashire down to the South East, roughly.)
  • Coordinating the field sales teams activities, working with them to develop plans and maximise their performance against their set targets
  • Indentifying new opportunities and working to develop the portfolio of accounts in the UK and Ireland
  • Striving to achieve and deliver company objectives and overachieve against set targets
  • Managing a portfolio of Key Accounts
  • Ensuring visual merchandising standards are consistently maintained across your portfolio and across your direct reports portfolios
  • Managing trade show programmes
  • Organising and delivering any overseas trips to the company's head office for new team members, new customers or new store staff.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Will have around 5 years national sales management experience from an FMCG environment
  • Must be an extremely competent Key Account Manager
  • Must have a full UK driving license and valid UK passport
  • Will need to be willing to travel across the UK for work purposes and occasional overseas due to the nature of the company's other offices
  • Must have strong people management experience
  • Must be a self-starter, with demonstrable effective interpersonal skills. The ability to effectively manage your own time and prioritise is a must!

Please note - in order to be successful in this role you must live no more than an hour's commute from the Winchester, Andover or Basingstoke area!!!
