Logistics Sales Coordinator
Salary : £26000 - £28000 dependent on experience plus fantastic benefits and HUGE progression prospects
Location : Portsmouth
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm
Dynamite recruitment is currently working in partnership with a very well-established Transport and Logistics business who are based on the Portsmouth area
Due to growth plans out client is now looking to recruit for a unique individual to join their Transport and Logistics Sales and Account Management team
As a Logistics Sales Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting new clients with their sales enquiries
Whilst you are working as part of the new business sales team you will not be required to cold call in fact all enquiries will come through to you via email and in some cases the telephone to which you respond to
It is your job to nurture and develop the relationship from a general enquiry through to a booking and at this point you will then hand the client over to be managed by a customer service team
There will however be an element of Account management where you will be required to build and maintain relationships
We are therefore looking for someone with strong Customer Service or Sales /Account Management Skills and experience who provides a consultative approach and cares for the customers need
Ideally someone who has worked in a service-based environment rather than product related
As a Logistics Sales Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting new clients with their sales enquiries
Key duties include the following :
  • Providing new and existing customers with a quotation related to their requirements
  • Ensuring overall customer satisfaction by providing accurate details within a prompt timeframe
  • To follow up any outstanding quotations and ensure that the customer has all of the information that they require
  • Assisting the client from the initial point of contact through to the agreement to proceed with the transportation of goods
  • To nurture and build long standing relationships
  • To provide customer services to each client and manage any general enquiries that they may have
  • To complete all levels of administration
The ideal Logistics Sales Coordinator will have / Be
  • Strong customer service or Sales / Account management experience
  • Will; have the customers best interest at the heart of what they do
  • Will have strong relationship building skills
  • Will be well organised, with excellent administration skills and experience
  • Be strongly skilled in problem-solving, with a ‘can do’ attitude and ability to use own initiative and prioritise workload
  • Have a strong work ethic and be eager to learn and develop
  • Previous experience within Transport , supply chain , logistics would be advantageous but nit essential
