The serve clients across Africa, Asia, Europe, Middle East and the US
The Logistics Co-ordinator will be responsible for providing support in the following areas:-
- Co-ordinating local and international shipments including air, sea, road and courier for incoming and outgoing freight
- Building relationships and negotiating rates with freight forwarders
- Arranging the despatch of shipments from the warehouse to various destinations via air, sea and courier
- Assisting with warehousing duties including checking and packing orders
- Producing appropriate shipping documentation
- Liaising with end clients and providing order status reports and pre-alerts
- Knowledge of shipping documents including Air Waybills and Bills of Lading
- Strong understanding of Incoterms 2010 & 2020
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident and clear communication skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to physically inspect and pack goods in the warehouse (ad-hoc)
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- FULL Driving Licence
- Forklift license will be advantageous but not essential
