IT 1st/2nd Line Support
Location: Portsmouth
Salary : £25000 -£30000 dependent on experience
Hours of work: Full time core working hours

Due to growth plans our client is looking to recruit a IT Engineer / IT support 1st & 2nd Line Support to join the business
This is a great opportunity for an experienced 1st/2nd line support technician to join an internal IT department that supports over 200 users both onsite and remotely across multiple branches.

As an IT Engineer / IT 1st/2nd Line support your key tasks & Responsibilities
- Ticket management – Logging and troubleshooting tickets with accurate ticket updates and time entries.
- Ensuring all issues are pursued to a resolution and escalated where appropriate.
- Building, provisioning, and deploying Windows OS.
- Maintenance of hardware, network equipment, printers & software.
- Providing support both locally and remotely.
- Troubleshooting, repairing and documenting hardware and software issues.
- Involvement in administration and configuration of internal management system (Full training will be provided)
- Administration of Telephone system / Mobile MDM requirements – Training provided.
- Currently working in an IT support role with proven track record of providing 1st/2nd line support.
- Substantial computer hardware and software fault finding experience.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Experience in Office 365 administration
- Experience in Microsoft Active Directory administration, DHCP, DNS and GPO
- Solid knowledge of network operations – Wireless networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP fundamentals
- Excellent telephone manner
- Proactive attitude
