Customer Service Insurance Advisor
Start Date: 16th May start and assessment day on the 2nd May
Location: Lancaster - St Ives
Salary: £15,000 with opportunity to increase to £16,000 after 9 months and £17,500 after 18 months
Hours of Work:
Week 1 Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm
Week 2 Monday & Friday 11.30 - 19.30, Tuesday & Thursday 12 - 19.30 and Saturday
8.30 - 4pm

As an Insurance Advisor you will provide excellent customer service and effective administration support to all customers regarding their insurance through every channel.


  • Effectively manage customers enquires and queries through a variety of communication channels.
  • Maximise retention targets through the provision of effective and efficient communication and negotiation skills.
  • Adhere to Company processes with regards to Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), Data Protection Act (DPA) and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) requirements.
  • Manage time effectively to meet required business targets ensuring quality and accuracy requirements are met.
  • Effectively communicate with customers to provide relevant product information that is clear, fair and not misleading allowing the customer to make an informed decision.
  • Use all relevant information to maximise opportunities to cross sell and up sell insurance products.
  • Operate within own area of accountability, proactively escalating issues and seeking guidance.
  • Understand business issues and recommend solutions to improve.
  • Commit to own personal development
