Inbound Customer Service Representative

Location: Birmingham - Cradley heath
Hours of work: 40 hour week between 09.00am and 7.00pm, Saturday - 9.00 - 1.00pm
Salary: £17,500 with guaranteed increase £19,000 within the first 12month.
Start Date: ASAP

The role will primarily be a first point contact for customers and you would be expected to deliver the highest possible standard of customer service while demonstrating a calm, polite and confident telephone manner and adhering to all company procedures. You will be trained to be multi-skilled and involved in dealing with each customers query.

Responsibilities:

  • To receive and respond to incoming calls from existing and potential Customers in relation to mid-term quotations, queries and complaints.
  • To gather information from clients to assess their insurance needs and providing resolutions where possible.
  • To ensure all client/insurer post received is actioned in accordance with set procedures.
  • To amend policies mid-term in accordance with client instructions.
  • To ensure relationships with insurers remain strong.
  • To collect premiums and ensure account screens are kept up to date.
  • To provide sound, correct advice at all times.
  • To Input data to in-house computer systems, issuing letters and keeping detailed records.
  • Up-selling of additional products to increase company profit.
  • The ability to handle objections with effective feedback.
