HR Coordinator - 6mth FTC
Location: Fareham / Southampton
Salary: £20K - £24K pro rata
Hours of Work: 08:30am - 17:00pm Monday to Friday

Dynamite Recruitment is delighted to be working in partnership with one of the UK's leading and most successful telecommunications businesses. My client is looking to recruit a HR Coordinator into their brilliant HR team on a 6 month FTC.

Relevant degree or equivalent qualification is essential

The HR Coordinator will assist with the assist with the daily administration and operation of the HR functions, supporting the team in the implementation of the HR strategy and projects.
Your daily responsibilities:

  • Work with the Head of HR to develop, maintain and update HR policies and procedures, with a focus on process evaluation and improvement at all times
  • Maintaining employee files both on the HRIS and paper HR filing system
  • Assist in the creation and development of job descriptions
  • Assist in the development and evaluation of performance management processes
  • Assist in the development and administration of L&D initiatives and training programmes for staff at all levels
  • Issuing offers of employment and reference requests for new employees, and monitoring their return
  • Entering new employees and leavers on the HR system, and managing the probationary period process
  • Providing reports and analysis of statistics to the Head of HR and other department Heads where required
  • Set up of return to work interviews
  • Assist with absence monitoring and provide support to line managers in handling absence management
  • Facilitate the induction of new staff and assist line managers in the development of more in depth induction processes
  • Dealing with queries regarding holiday and other benefits
  • Preparation for disciplinaries/grievances and capability hearings, including preparing the relevant documentation required, and participating in hearings as a HR representative
  • Preparing payroll information
  • A point of contact for the HR Assistant, providing guidance and support
  • A wide variety of ad hoc projects and tasks as directed by the Head of HR

The ideal candidate:

  • Previous experience working within HR is desirable although not essential
  • Strong verbal / written interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise deadlines
  • A proactive approach
