HR and Payroll Co-ordinator
Up to £24k, Depending on Experience
Full Time, Fixed Term Contract/Permanent

Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for a HR and Payroll Co-ordinator to join one of our top clients based in Winchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to become part of a busy and experienced team.

The position could go permanent for the successful candidate.

The Role:

  • To undertake administrative duties for the HR team
  • Input data for monthly payroll, including starters, leavers, timesheets and expenses
  • Produce and distribute pension scheme returns, including notification of changes in member's status, amendments to member's details, and potential new entrants and leavers
  • Responsible for distributing payroll outputs, i.e. payslips and P45s
  • Filing of payroll documents accordingly
  • Complete reference request for third party organisations for employees who have left
  • Produce and distribute pension scheme returns
  • Ensure distribution of employee information as requested
  • Generate annual leave entitlement records for staff on an annual basis, and calculate pro rata leave allocations for new staff and leavers
  • Assist in employee absence record keeping
  • Set up the necessary files for new members of staff
  • Assist in advertising vacancies, registering vacancies on line as required
  • Issue offer letters and new starter documentation for successful candidates
  • Liaise with external agency regarding the processing of DBS applications
  • Monitoring and ensuring Managers are authorised to verify the completion of DBS forms
  • Undertake training and development in order to improve effectiveness
  • Comply with the policies and procedures
  • Undertake any ad hoc duties

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience within a similar role
  • Strong IT Literate; Word, Excel
  • Good organisation skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and work independently to tight deadlines
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with a confident and tenacious telephone manner
