HR Advisor
Location: Southampton
Salary: £25,329 - £29,034 
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 Hours Monday – Friday, 5 days per week (Core hours) but flexible working arrangements are available

Dynamite Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a well-established business in Southampton who pride themselves on their customer experience’s and have strong core values which they are keen to find in other people to allow them to grow and are now looking for a HR Advisor.
As the HR Advisor:
You will be approachable, understanding, and professional, but have confidence to be resilient and direct when necessary. You will also be someone who has a wealth of enthusiasm, driven and has a proactive approach to their work. As the HR Advisor you will have exposure to all of our clients’ employees, so strong communication skills are crucial for this role. You will have previous experience in an assistant / advisory position, with exposure to ER case work. This is a very varied role and an exciting opportunity if you’re looking for something to get stuck into!
The Key Responsibilities of the HR Advisor are as follows
  • Provide advice and support to managers on HR policies and procedures, such as disciplinaries and grievances
  • Assist with the recruitment process from start to finish and everything in between
  • Conducting and reviewing exit interview feedback
  • Reviewing and improving relevant policies, procedures, and processes, ensuring they’re in line
with current employment law
  • Researching training providers to meet business needs
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required
  • Ideally, our client is looking for someone who has or be working towards a CIPD Level 5 qualification as a minimum, or equivalent, or be able to show evidence of the equivalent practical work experience
  • Good understanding of Microsoft systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to deal with difficult situations in a calm manner
  • Knowledge of Data Protection and GDPR rules

  • A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • A willingness to undertake training relevant to the post
  • Ability to organise, plan & prioritise workload, ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner
