HR Advisor
Monday to Friday - 18 month fixed term contract

Churches Fire is and an industry leading national Fire and Security business that is rapidly growing and seeking a proactive and motivated professional to join the team. We have a track record of providing fantastic opportunities to candidates throughout the country and are seeking an HR Advisor to work from our newly refurbished state of the art Head Office in Chandlers Ford.

* This role requires a minimum of 30 hours per week but can also offer full time hours * 
 
HR Advisor Responsibilities:
  • Support all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
  • Maintain digital and electronic records of employees.
  • Serve as point of contact.
  • Assist with the recruitment process which is run with an external vendor.
  • Oversee the completion of compensation and benefit documentation.
  • Assist with performance management procedures.
  • Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.
  • Perform inductions and update records of new staff.
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
  • Complete termination paperwork and exit interviews.
  • Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practice.
  • Advise and assist within Disciplinary/Capability/Grievance Meetings
  • Advise and assist as required with HR Enquiries

HR Advisor Requirements:
  • 5 + years of experience as an HR Advisor (essential). Level 5 and above
  • Exposure to Employment Law and Regulations.
  • To have experience with TUPE and merge of acquisition
  • To have exposure to the redundancy process
  • Effective HR Advisor and people management skills.
  • Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
  • Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, NAV (if Possible) and related business and communication tools.
  • Fantastic organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to accurately follow instructions.
