HR Advisor
 
Location: Portsmouth
 
Hours of work: Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week
 
Salary: £22000 -£25000 per annum plus fantastic company benefits which include the following

Dynamite Recruitment is currently working in partnership with a very well established organisation based in Portsmouth
As a result of their success our client are expanding their Hr department and an exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR advisor to join a friendly Hr team
If you are an experienced HR Advisor looking for an exciting new opportunity or competent HR Administrator/Assistant looking to take the next step in your career, this position would be ideal
As HR Advisor you will report directly the the HR Manager and assist in the provision of a first class service to stakeholders across an expanding business.
You will be results orientated and passionate about achieving success through a people focused culture.
The right candidate will possess the skills to to forge meaningful relationships at all levels within the business and provide sound advise on an array of HR matters such as recruitment, performance management, absence and employment relations.
As a Hr Advisor you will be responsible for the following tasks;
 
  • Providing support and guidance to line managers on HR policy and procedures
  • Provision of an end to end recruitment service
  • Provide support and guidance to line managers on performance management, sickness & absence and disciplinary & grievance matters, including note taking at meetings
  • Maintain accurate employee records in line with GDPR legislation guidelines
  • Facilitate the company induction programme
  • To assist with general HR administration such as completing references; drafting new starter paperwork, disciplinary and grievance letters and maternity, paternity, adoption and flexible working paperwork
  • To assist with developing and delivering training to line managers and employees
  • To monitor and identify emerging trends or issues relating to employee absence and staff turnover
  • To provide support for company wide HR initiatives such as appraisals, pay reviews, and other projects as directed by the HR Manager
  •  
The ideal candidate will have / be the following
  • Minimum of 2 years experience of working a fast paced  HR environment
  • Experience of providing support to line managers in a wide variety of HR matters
  • Experience of handling sensitive/confidential information
  • Payroll experience would be advantageous although not essential
 
  • Good working knowledge of all Microsoft applications
  • Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritise under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Team Player
  • Positive 'can do' attitude
  • Flexible and resilient
 
Qualifications:
  • CIPD level 3 or above is desired although not essential- Study support is an option
  • Good basic standard of education is essential
