We have a track record of providing fantastic opportunities to candidates throughout the country and are now seeking a competition individual to join our team as the Head of Mechanical Installations.
**To be considered for this role you must have knowledge and experience within the LPC Regulations and hold a full UK drivers’ licence.
The Role:
The Head of Mechanical Installations must ensure that all mechanical installation projects are carried out in an efficient and effective manner to meet both the needs of the customer and Churches Fire and of course to hit budget growth plans.  You are responsible for managing the Mechanical Installation Project Managers and Installation Technician/Small Works Engineers overseeing all site-based activities in larger installations that involve an in-house team or sub-contractors.
Responsibilities & Duties:
  • To lead and manage the mechanical installation department
  • Plan and organise your own daily work and the installations you are responsible for
  • To ensure all works that are being completed are being carried out to the correct standards
  • To be decisive and make decisions based around your experience within the industry
  • To ensure are contracts are being completed in the right timescales and to customer budgets
  • To manage the project managers and technicians and assist when required
  • Support any business change for the benefit of the company
  • Be flexible with the working demands as and when required
  • To carry out sprinkler designs and support the design team to a high standard
  • To carry out site inspections before and after the works have been carried out
  • Carry out surveys/quotations for new and existing customers as and when required
  • Promoting of other company services such as fire risk assessments and fire training
  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Undertake any training provided by the company
  • Liaise with office staff to assist in the resolving of queries
The Candidate
  • To have experience working in a similar role
  • To have a good understanding of LPC rules
  • To be able to lead by example
  • To be confident in your knowledge of Sprinkler systems
  • To have experience in working to set KPI’s and customer SLAs’
  • To be willing to travel when required
