Financial Complaints Officer - Corporate Business
Dynamite Financial Services is currently recruiting for this successful, corporate wealth management business with a sizable market presence. The company has grown extensively through acquisition and has built a considerable market presence across a wide range of Financial Services, Wealth Management and Advisory sectors.
With a reputation for rewarding and recognising great people, the company is now looking to recruit a Financial Complaints Officer as a result of internal promotion.
This is a busy, challenging yet very rewarding role that will primarily involve ensuring the business meets regulatory requirements in terms of complaints handling and compliance.
Key duties will include:
Ensuring that all complaints are handled in line with Treating Customers Fairly and FCA regulations.
Conducting monitoring activities across the business in line with set processes to ensure compliance standards are met.
Reporting to the business and management team in relation to any breaches of regulations, in order that remedial actions can be taken.
Conducting detailed investigations into specific customer cases, ensuring that complaints are acknowledged and responded to within set timescales.
Making fair and balanced recommendations regarding complaint outcomes.
Communicating effectively with customers, ensuring that data systems are updated appropriately.
Producing details and insightful Management Information reports as required by the business on a regular basis.
Attending compliance workshops to maintain an awareness of regulatory changes that may impact on the business and its processes.
The successful candidate will also be required to engage effectively with team members of all levels across the company to discuss compliance measures, and the outcome of monitoring activities to promote development and improvements where necessary.
In order to apply for this rewarding opportunity, candidates should have proven knowledge and experience of pensions and investments, gained by working in an IFA business, Wealth Management or other Financial Services environment.
Regulatory knowledge is essential, as is an understanding of FOS complaints procedures. Candidates will ideally have a Level 4 Diploma, along with a personable, professional nature.
Good people skills are essential, along with a customer focused approach.
