Finance Team Leader
£30 - 35k, Depending on Experience
Full Time, Permanent Position!

Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Finance Team Leader to join one of our top clients based in Petersfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join a busy and supportive team.

The Role:

  • Supervising, monitoring and measuring team outputs
  • Ensuring all internal controls are accurately maintained, reconciled, documented and correctly reported
  • Conducting internal audits
  • Inspiring, motivating, coaching and developing individuals to achieve outstanding performance through personal leadership and effective performance management
  • Day to day management of the department including recruitment, development, performance management, training, succession planning as well as overseeing the progress of all work conducted within the department
  • Resolving queries and providing technical support and advice to the team
  • Providing adhoc support to the Financial Controller as required
  • Conducting appraisals, providing feedback and setting measurable objectives
  • Developing a culture of continuous improvement, focused on increasing effectiveness and efficiency
  • Supporting the team in delivery of their daily tasks as required
  • Supporting or leading adhoc project work assigned to the team

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Resilience, assertive and confident in making decisions
  • Experience of sales ledger, purchase ledger and bank reconciliation procedures
  • Strong analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Comfortable working within a regulated environment, process, procedures
  • Self-motivated and able to motivate others
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word)
  • Experience of managing a team and undertaking performance reviews
  • Good time management and ability to prioritise workload
  • Enjoys being part of a team and willing to help with their workloads
  • Interpersonal and organisational skills
