Finance Coordinator
£18-22k, Depending on Experience
Full Time, Temporary Position!

Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Finance Coordinator to join one of our prestigious clients based in Fareham. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to become part of a stable and experienced team.

The Role:

  • Assist the Senior Finance Coordinator with the production of accounts on a monthly basis
  • Managing client accounts
  • Processing payroll
  • Reconciling inter-company accounts
  • Sales ledger processing including raising sales invoices and credit control
  • Processing and approving staff expenses/ company credit card expenses
  • Credit control, managing accounts receivable and liaising with clients on outstanding balances due
  • Managing and posting petty cash
  • Assisting the Senior Finance Coordinator in the completion of VAT returns to the HMRC
  • Preparation of financial reports, including variance reports and debtors reports
  • Purchase ledger processing, including matching purchase orders to purchase invoices, obtaining authorisation for payment, investigating queries, reconciling to supplier statements and processing payments
  • Maintaining financial records including filing and other related admin
  • Other ad-hoc financial and commercial duties to support the business
  • Providing cover in the Senior Finance Coordinator and Payroll/ Purchase Ledger Assistant's absence

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Working towards a formal accountancy qualification(CIMA, ACA, ACCA) or equivalent experience
  • Previous payroll experience (desirable)
  • Good systems expertise, including Sage and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail
  • Passion for what you do
  • Confident to make decisions and to stand by them
  • Ability to prioritise and organise
  • Highly organised with efficient time management and ability to prioritise accordingly
  • Proactive
  • Proven experience in a similar Finance role
  • Positive and friendly with a "can do attitude"
  • A flair for creating amazing customer experiences
  • Good negotiation and influencing skills
