Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join a well-established business based in Bordon. The role will be joining a small accounts team and working directly with the Accountant. This position will be offering hybrid working of one day at home per week.
- Processing accounts payable via Sage50
- Completing bank reconciliations
- Identify causes of variance from budget and assist in creating monthly performance reports
- Supporting the rest of the finance team when required
- Recommend improvements to procedures and processes to ensure the department is working efficiently
- Experience within a similar position
- Sage50 experience is essential
- AAT qualified, studying towards CIMA/ACCA/ACA (desirable)
- Strong Excel and analytical and reporting skills, confident manipulating large datasets
- Strong attention to detail and good verbal and written communication skills
