Our client is a growing business with huge growth plans for 2021 and are now looking to expand their Field sales team as a result.

As a Field Sales Executive / New Business Sales Manager you will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of new business sales through a mixture of converting appointments generated by a Marketing team, coupled with generating a proportion of your own business opportunities. 

You will be meeting with new clients and will be the face of the business were creating a great first impression is vital. Reporting into the Sales Director, you will be responsible for delivering results again set targets.

As a Field Sales Executive you will be responsible for the following
  • Initially sitting virtual appointments although when restrictions lift you will go to customers offices where possible to meet with decision makers of the business.
  • Meeting with new clients/ decision makers
  • To pitch and close new business opportunities
  • Sitting a combination of meetings booked by Marketing, combined with self-generated meetings.
  • To establish customers’ needs / wants, generate interest, negotiate with customers and overcome any objections.
  • To present benefits to the customer and close new business
  • To provide excellent customer services
  • To complete administration to follow up on sales, appointments, booked and completed
  • Liaising with the Sales Director, reporting against targets set and ensuring continued growth of the business.
  • Ensuring targets are met and processes are being followed.
  • Monitoring own KPI’s
  • The main objective of the role is to convert quality sales for the SME market to deliver projects on.
 
 
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Previous experience within a Sales position – ideally BtoB / Business to Business
  • Will ideally have been in a Field Sales position / Sales position where new business has been generated previously.
  • Must be hungry, motivated and keen to grow a new business,
  • Will have previous successful experience in closing new business, working to and achieving sales targets.
  • Will have good negotiation skills and experience.
  • Will have good communication skills and experience.
  • Will be competent in using Microsoft office.
  • Attention to detail is key when reporting.
  • Will have the ability to think outside the box to provide innovative ideas and to generate business.
  • The ability to motivate work alone and as part of a team will prove essential.
