Estimator / Tender Support / Sales support
 
Location : Portsmouth
 
Salary : £21000 to £24000 dependant on experience
 
Plus fantastic benefits which include but are not limited to:

Hours of work : Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm  
Dynamite Recruitment is working in partnership with a very well established Building / Facilities / Construction business who is based in the Portsmouth area  
Our client have been established for several years and are renowned for being the best in their specialist field with several awards won as a result of this  
Due to their success they are now looking to recruit an Estimator / Junior Estimator/ Sales Support  to join their business
 
As an Estimator / Tender & Sales Support you will be responsible fore
 
  • Supporting a team and senior estimator with the estimating of work to be complete
  • Administrative responsibilities
  • Analysis of tender documents
  • Preparing bills of quantities
  • Submitting conclusive tenders for roof works
  • Monitor, measure and report on conversion rates
  • Regularly chase the progress of tenders
  • Continuously develop further leads
  • Report on expected order values
  • Regularly meet with supply chain to negotiate buying rates for materials
 
The candidate must
  • Have previous experience with estimating / costing of work
  • Have ideally had experience within a construction business although this isnt essential
  • Be personable and  have good communication skills
  • Be very commercially astute
  • Have excellent mathematical ability good presentation skills and fully conversant IT skills.
