Client Account Manager / Customer Coordinator

Location: Portsmouth

Salary: To be discussed , you will receive a guarantee of £22000 -£25000 basic for 6 months with a commission package in place for revenue generated
OTE £30K plus

There is no cold calling you generate business from accounts that are given to you

Hours: Full time Mon – Fri 08.30 – 17.00. 30 minutes for lunch. Occasional weekend work as required but not frequent.

Dynamite recruitment is currently working in partnership with a very well established traditional business who are based in the Portsmouth area
Due to continued growth our client is now expanding and is looking for a Client Account Manager / Customer Support Executive to join their team

Key objectives are as follows :
To grow business from an established base of customers through increasing the value of orders placed and introducing new product lines to customers, in accordance with monthly and yearly business plans.

To provide a high standard of customer service and ensure all work is compliant with company standards and policies to maintain the company’s position as market leaders in their field.

As a Customer Account Manager you will be responsible for :

• To contact existing customers by phone to sell appropriate products from the large range John Rothery Wholesales supplies
• To achieve monthly and annual sales targets relating to value of customer turnover and specific product related promotions
• To increase the value of orders placed by gaining a thorough understanding of each customer and what they sell
• To build long-term relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and continued business growth
• To maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the company database
• To place all customer orders on the order management system
• To manage incoming calls from customers which may consist of taking orders, answering stock queries, arranging delivery and dealing with repairs
• To process payments from customers and deal with account and credit queries including chasing outstanding payments
• To develop extensive product, industry and customer knowledge
• To attend regular product and sales training sessions
• To visit customers as necessary to develop relationships and drive account growth
• To produce and present reports as required relating to all aspects of your role and responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have / be

• Strong relationship building skills
• Have good communication skills
• Be methodical and be able to negotiate where necessary
• Have the ability to work to targets and deadlines
• Have good administration skills
• Ideally have managed customer relationships / Account managed with success
