Customer Service Manager - Gosport

£25,000 - £30,000 P/A + Full Company Benefits

Full Time - Permanent - 9am to 5pm - Monday to Friday!!

Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Customer Service Manager to join a fantastic UK leading SME business based in Gosport.

The Role:

  • Leading, coaching and motivating the Customer Service team to providing an exceptional service to all customers.
  • Work closely with the Operations Controller & Sales Director, building strong working relationships.
  • Working with all Key, National and Independent customers, ensuring high level of customer service is provided at all times.
  • Understanding and adhering to specific customer requirements.
  • Ensuring price lists and quotes for customers are produced correctly and are detailed on the database.
  • Working towards deadlines, ensuring all sales workload has been actioned.
  • Building effective working relationships with all departments in the office, ensuring a smooth day to day running.
  • Working closely with Quality Assurance to ensure all deadlines are met and handling any issues should they arise.
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of the sales order process and stock allocations/availability.
  • Managing continuous improvement in accordance with business plans.
  • Attend a variety of meetings with new and existing customers.
  • Attend trade shows as and when required.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Must have experience in a Customer Service Manager or Customer Services Team Manager role or have worked in a similar office management-type position!
  • Will have strong knowledge of all aspects in customer services including coaching, mentoring, 1-2-1's and training.
  • Any experience of working in an SME FMCG business would be a huge advantage. This is an office-based role and not a call centre/contact centre environment.
  • Will need to be self-motivated and act as the 'go to' person.
  • Will have great leadership and relationship building skills.
  • Will need to have robust/strong management skills and be result driven!
  • Must be PC literate!
