Customer Account Manager

Based in Southampton

£££Salary Depending on Experience + Bonus & Commission! Realistic OTE of £36,000 P/A!

Full Time - Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm

Dynamite Recruitment is delighted to represent this corporate client in recruiting a Customer Sales Account Manager to join their Southampton based team. This company work nationwide and they are a market leader in their industry, as well as being one of the largest companies to provide this type of product.

The Role:

  • Looking after and managing a portfolio of customers, discussing their policy renewal or any other questions or queries they may have
  • Working towards retaining as many customers policies as possible
  • Contacting customers to talk through renewal terms and alternative or revised quotes
  • Upselling and cross selling products & services where possible and appropriate to ensure maximum revenue generation
  • Handling any new business enquiries and setting up new customer policies on the system
  • Building and maintaining customer and client relationships
  • Supporting with market reviews, new business enquiries and transfers from other departments
  • Adhoc project and administration work

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Will have previous customer services & account management experience from a financially regulated or financial services organisation such as insurance, banking, investments or claims!!! Any PMI or Health Insurance experience would be a HUGE advantage!
  • You must have confident skills in Word & Excel and strong general IT skills
  • Must have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines and monthly/quarterly targets
  • Needs to have effective communication skills. both written & verbal
  • Will need to have the ability to build effective and long lasting relationships and the want to retain customers business
  • Will be able to identify and deliver alternative solutions and encourage customer retention wherever possible
  • Will need to be sales minded and comfortable up selling and cross selling
