Contact Centre Team Leader/ Team Manager

Location: Portsmouth

Hours of work: you would need to be prepared to work a shift rota of 4 days on and 4 days off. Your shifts will require you to work from 7am to 7pm

Salary: £21000 to £23000 dependent on experience

They have huge ambition to grow and to become a specialist market leader in its industry, and due to this they are now looking to recruit a contact centre / call centre Team Leader to join the successful management team
As a Contact Centre / Call Centre Team Leader you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Lead, coach and drive your team of Customer Service Representatives in order to ensure they provide a high-quality service
  • Managing the performance of your team members
  • Monitoring KPI's
  • Maximise individual operator and team engagement through the use of appropriate and innovative motivational techniques to ensure quality guidelines are met.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement in the processes or systems within the department by evaluating the quality of work done
  • Assist in the recruitment of new employees


The ideal candidate will have the following

  • Previous experience as a call centre / contact centre team manager
  • Experience of working unsupervised and using initiative
  • Strong Leadership Skills
  • Passion for people
  • Staff development and Performance Management
  • Effective communications skills
  • Coaching and feedback experience
  • Self-management skills
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office packages
