Business Development Manager / BDM- Hybrid

Location: Offices are based in Portsmouth / The company will offer hybrid working

Salary: Up to £40000 basic plus a bonus scheme – Realistic OTE
Basic salary may be negotiable dependant on experience 

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 9am to 5,30pm

Our client is recognised for their specialist products ands services and due to huge success out client is now looking to expand their Sales team

We are currently recruiting for a business development manager /BDM who will be keen to make their mark and also be part of shaping the business and its further growth

As a Business Development Manager / BDM you will be responsible for
  • Generating new sales opportunities through various channels
  • Maximising current client accounts , upselling and cross selling whilst encouraging repeat business
  • Sourcing leads
  • Working with the marketing team to suggest marketing opportunities, and investigating any other methods to increase business levels
  • Completing all round administration
  • Working to sales targets
The ideal Business Development manager will have / Be
  • Previous experience as a successful BDM / Business development manager previously
  • Will have proactively generated your own new business and have a proven success rate
  • Will have a consultative approach to sales and account management
  • Will be proactive and self efficient
  • Will be adaptable to change
  • You must have excellent communication & organisational skills while working well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of decision maker contacts within the motor trade would be an advantage.
  • Will be competent in using Microsoft Office
