Senior Business Development Manager
Bournemouth
£43,000 PA (uncapped OTE of £75-80k PA)
Full time, Permanent.

I am looking for a senior business development manager to join a vibrant and fast growing organisation based in Bournemouth.
You must be a highly motivated, self-starter with a 'can do' attitude!
This outstanding business provides a wide range of innovative technologies and services to large corporates across the globe.

The Role:
You will be joining the existing BDM team based in the Bournemouth location.
Due to a brand-new software offering, you will drive new business revenue through corporate sales across the UK and Europe.

  • You will join with a cold desk and will be expected to generate new business with very senior DMs within large corporate businesses
  • Must be comfortable creating own pipeline from scratch, including networking, researching and cold calling
  • Develop an in depth understanding of the client proposition and the industry as a whole
  • Actively own and manage the sales process for each identified prospect from identification and discovery through to close, implementation and ongoing account management
  • Create, build and manage individual sales pipeline to contribute to overall company growth targets
  • Attend industry events and conferences to maximise networking opportunities



Required Experience:

  • B2B sales/ business development
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales expectations consistently
  • Having dealt with large corporates at a very senior level ideally across UK and Europe
  • Proven experience of managing new business sales processes and exceeding sales targets
  • Proven experience of generating own pipeline
  • Excellent business development and relationship management skills in B2B or Affinity sales channels
  • Previous experience of managing and writing bids, responding to RFPs and creating sales material (presentations)
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills



Preferred Experience:

  • SaaS sales environment
  • B2B sales within insurance industry
  • Experience of selling technology platforms as part of a wider service proposition
