Business Development Executive
Hours - Mon-Thu 09:00-18:00 1 hour lunch , Fri 09:00-17:30 ½ hour lunch
£22,000 to £26,000 + Commission uncapped

Dynamite Recruitment are working alongside a well known specialist financial company who due to fast growth are looking for a driven and motivated sales person to join them as a Trainee Business Development Executive


Your primary focus will be to generate interest from potential clients through networking and making initial contact with the market.

  • Meeting the sales and financial targets and working to and exceeding KPI's set out at the start of each quarter

  • Cold calling as appropriate to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities

  • Pursuing sales leads and developing strong new business relationships

  • Understanding client needs and matching these with our services

  • Planning approaches and pitches; work with the team to develop proposals that speak to the client's needs, concerns and objectives

  • Managing the entire sales process focusing on quality and customer service

  • Planning and preparing persuasive presentations and proposals to clients

  • Negotiating using the full range of sales techniques

  • Closing deals

  • Identify new sectors for growth in the industry

  • Communicating with the key interfaces to keep them up-to-date with the status of sales

  • Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • 1-2 years Business to Business cold calling

  • Exposure to working in a busy, target driven Business to Business environment

  • Proven track record in exceeding targets

  • Strong self-motivation

  • Strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation

  • Confident negotiator and ability to close the deal

  • Strong client management skills

  • Positive, determined approach to researching and analysing new business opportunities

  • UK driving license with own car
