Assistant Administrator

Location : Southampton

Salary -£19000 starting salary

Hours - 37.5 hours per week (09.00am - 17.30pm Monday to Friday)

Dynamite recruitment is currently working in partnership with a very well-established business that is based in the Southampton area

Due to internal developments our client is looking to recruit an assistant administrator to assist a PA within the business

As an assistant administrator you will be responsible for working along-side the Assistant PA in providing support to our Executives and Senior members of the team in all aspects of the business.

You will also be responsible for the day to day running of the office as well as general administrative duties.

On a day to day basis you will complete the following tasks

  • Act as the first point of contact for all telephone and office enquiries, to problem solve, handle enquiries and provide exceptional customer service
  • Prepare for meetings, greet guests and inform organisers where necessary
  • To receive all mail correspondence on behalf of the office, including the management of the mailing system
  • Maintain all kitchen and office equipment as well as organise office supplies
  • Update and maintain database, inventory, and filing systems both computerized or manually
  • Provide assistance with any adhoc projects requested by the Executive and Management Team
  • Prepare presentations
  • Implement basic website updates

  • Will have excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Will have excellent computer literacy and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to maintain trusting relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues
  • Flexible with a 'can do' attitude
