Assistant Accounts Supervisor
£20-22k Depending on Experience
Full Time, Permanent Position!

Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Assistant Accounts Supervisor to join one of our top clients based on the outskirts of Southampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to become part of a busy and experienced team.

In this role you will be responsible for your own Accounts and also assist in supervising the rest of the team to ensure all client's accounts are reported accurately.
Free parking on site.

The Role:

  • Responsibility for own portfolio of accounts
  • Supporting the supervisor in overseeing the team
  • To stand in for the supervisor when necessary
  • Help train new employees
  • Purchase Ledger
  • Sales Ledger
  • Inputting budgets
  • Prepare and post journals
  • Accruals & Prepayments
  • First point of support for the Supervisor
  • Ensure team are meeting deadlines
  • Supporting team members with issues in their workload
  • Train clients and new employees on in house computer system
  • Assisting Management Account with balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assisting Supervisor & Finance Manager with ad hoc duties

The Ideal Candidate:

  • AAT Qualified or equivalent
  • Previous experience of supervising a team
  • Good organisation and administrative skills with attention to detail
  • Able to use initiative and think logically in busy situations
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with a confident and tenacious telephone manner
