Administration Team Leader- Part Remote / Part Office

Location: Portsmouth / Part remote and part office based

Salary: £30000 -£34000 basic plus an additional opportunity to earn a bonus of up to 10%

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 37.5, core hours between the hours of 8.30 am and 5.30 pm

As a result, we are currently looking to expand a team and recruit an Administration Team Leader to join a very successful team

As a Administration Team Leader you will be responsible for supporting a team of 7 and report to the head of department

You will manage a team of Administrators using effective feedback and communication of company goals while assessing work performance and identifying areas for improvement and training opportunities.

You will communicate business goals, project deadlines, and staff performance with the management team, and use industry and company knowledge to offer a leading customer-focused experience.

Key Duties will include the following :
  • Provide coaching to the team individuals identifying areas for new training, skill gap analysis and personal development programmes. Motivate, guide and mentor team members to exceed goals and create a positive environment
  • Answer team questions, help with team member problems and oversee team member work for quality and guideline compliance
  • Assist the Head of Department with the develop and define department processes and strategies through root cause analysis, data interrogation, customer feedback and KPI measures
  • Develop strategies to promote team member adherence to company regulations and performance goals
  • Conduct team meetings when required to update members on best practices and continuing expectations
  • Ensure company brand materials and physical working spaces meet and exceed company presentation standards
  • Complete any other reasonable management requests, including, but not limited to reporting, projects, coaching, HR administration
  • To act as escalations and second line support to provide solutions to customer complaints through quality customer service, including interacting with customers and answering customer enquiries
  • Assist the Head of the department in feeding back to team members on areas of performance improvement
  • Answer team questions, help with team member problems and oversee team member work for quality and guideline compliance
  • Develop strategies to promote team member adherence to company regulations and performance goals
  • Conduct team meetings when required to update members on best practices and continuing expectations
  • Creates an atmosphere centered on delivering excellent customer service
  • Maintains strong working knowledge of company products and services and offer technical support and information to team members
  • Manage customer orders and team workload when required
  • Complete any other reasonable management requests, including, but not limited to reporting, projects, coaching, HR administration

  • Will have had experience in managing a team previously with success
  • Will have worked in a fast paced and process driven environment
  • Will have strong leadership skills
  • Will be adaptable to change
  • Will have the ability to adapt to various personalities
  • Will have strong communication skills
  • Will have good attention to detail
Previous experience within IT Technical /Telecoms would be preferable although not essential
